Sana Ben Nacef-Virgone, M.Ed

Sana Ben Nacef-Virgone, M.Ed. is a seasoned educator, professional, and curriculum developer, artist, activist, and mother. Since the start of her teaching career, Sana has centered her every move around advocacy and the amplification of student voices. Sana has developed professional and student programming around ESL co-teaching, student advocacy, data collection, civic engagement and community activism in schools across New Jersey. Her passion for Youth Participatory Action Research began more than a decade ago and has driven much of her work as an educational leader today. Sana holds a dual bachelors degree from TCNJ and a Masters of Education degree in Culture and Society from Rutgers University.
