Youth in Action Summit

Student groups will have the opportunity to present their civic action research projects. Through youth participatory action research (YPAR), students identify issues that matter to their schools and communities, design their own inquiries, collect and analyze data, and take action for change. Their presentations will walk the audience through this process, from the first research question to the findings and the steps taken in response. The showcase celebrates student voice and gives educators a first-hand view of how YPAR connects rigorous research with meaningful civic learning in the classroom.
