Launch YPAR in Your Classroom

There are five stages of the civic action research cycle:

Start with “Build Community” and move through the stages sequentially, from “Select a Concern to Investigate,” to “Collect Data” to “Analyze Data” to “Communicate Results and Act,” returning to earlier topics as needed. The "Planning Tools" link will bring you to educator-created resources to help you organize your YPAR implementation.

On each page you will find a detailed explanation of the purpose of that stage, as well as explanations for how to use the lesson plans, worksheets, videos, and other materials.
