Renee Roundy
Graduate Student Assistant
Renée is a PhD student in Educational Theory, Organization, and Policy. A former middle school teacher, Renée has been learning about Youth Participatory Action Research alongside middle school students in Ms. Gustafson’s (one of our brilliant YPAR mentors) Youth in Action club and, more recently, working with a group of 10th-12th graders at a charter school in Newark. Her research interests are around belonging, transnational student identity, and their experiences in American public schools.
